Monthly Direct Debit Payment

Our Diamond Account has been specially designed to help you to spread the cost of heating your home by convenient and secure Direct Debit.

Q. I wish to open a Diamond Account. What next?
A. Simply download the Direct Debit form, complete it and send it to us and we'll do the rest!

Q. How much do I pay each month?
A. This depends on your own usage. We recommend that you start your monthly payments at a minimum of £70.00, but we can tailor this to meet your individual requirements.

Q. On which date are the payments made?
A. Direct Debits are normally made on the 10th and 20th day of each month. If you have any special requirements, please let us know.

Q. How can I stay up to date with my account?
A. We will send you a regular statement showing all transactions.

Q. Will my monthly payment change?
A. Only if a third of your outstanding balance is greater than you’re agreed monthly fixed amount.

Q. If I want to change my monthly payment amount, what do I do?
A. Simply contact us by telephone or email accounts@maxoldirect.com and we will make the change for you.

Q. What control do I have over my money?
A. You have complete control over your money. Should you wish to cancel your Diamond Account, we would ask that you notify us in writing and we will stop the transactions.Please note that a small administration charge may be made in such circumstances.

Q. What happens if my bank refuses a payment?
A. Should this happen, we will inform you in writing immediately. To cover Banking and Administration charges, a small charge may be incurred as a result of the missed payment. We may also ask you to make up the missed payment within 7 days. If you do not do so, we may close your Diamond Account and ask you to clear any balance immediately.

Q. What other benefits will I enjoy?
A. You will also enjoy priority delivery if you find that you have run out of oil. As an alternative, you may wish to register for our free planned delivery service.

Q. Will I still qualify for the cash discount rates?
A. Yes - all orders will be processed at cash discount rate.

Q. Can I order online?
A. Yes from July 2008 all Diamond Account holders will have the option to order online whist still paying via Direct Debt.
